Hello, everybody.
It's been a little while.
Uh, everything's kind of the same.
Uh, except for we're kind of older now.
Uh, I'm Amber, and I'm Paul, and you are listening to Caffe Nation Season 2, Episode 1, or Episode 560.
It has been a little while since I we rather have done a show.
So we did a little bit of a dig and found out that it has been almost seven years.
So we can do this, right?
Yeah.
OK, so this is going to be a little bit more bare bones.
I have to work on some of the the technology that supports the episode as we move forward.
But we're aiming to do maybe one or two episodes a month.
So but the caffeination is back.
We're going to try and keep this up.
And thank you, everybody who tunes back in.
If you are looking for this podcast or any of its episodic brethren, you can find them at c-a-f-f-i-n-a-t-i-o-n dot com.
All right.
So, oh, yeah, one other thing, because we don't have sponsors or anything for the show, there is an affiliate link at the top of the show notes so that if you are looking for server services, Inner Server is the place where we host this.
So this and you'll help us with our hosting fees if you click on it and order something.
So that's why that's there.
All right, we're going to go dive right on into the geeky cruft.
Geeky this week.
It's been a couple weeks.
So Amber, what have you been doing?
So I actually restrung a shock mount.
Yes.
So the shock mounts that we use, because it has been, again, seven years, we're in disrepair.
And how did you fix it?
with two hair ties.
So it is currently all working just as fine and I'm actually using the microphone that she fixed and everything seems to be working out correctly.
So what are you what are you watching right now?
Well, a little bit of everything, mainly one piece.
I started watching Lord of the Rings and I don't know, a little of everything.
Okay, I've been watching two really good series on Crunchyroll.
Jujutsu Kaisen, which is wonderful.
That's season three right now.
And then the first season of Sentenced to Be a Hero.
It's really cool.
The concept is that in this world, you can be punished to become a hero if you're an incredibly horrible person, and then you cannot die and you are forced to help other people.
And it's just a really interesting concept.
So.
Alright, so we're gonna go keep going on.
The first thing up is theater, a bit too dramatic.
The first thing we're gonna talk about is that there was, I don't know if it's still running, but there was Lord of the Rings the musical.
So the Chicago actors were all hobbits, and so we have a link to the story there.
It's from a couple years ago, but it is a sweeping musical at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
So if you are interested, you can check that out if it's still playing.
The next thing that we have, though,
It's actually a classic anime.
It is called Death Note and it's making a musical world premiere announcement.
So this musical has been, I don't know, it says it's for a six week season and it's like this anime about
You've seen it, right?
No.
You haven't seen it?
No, but I know about it.
Okay.
I know about it.
It's like, if you write your name in this notebook, you die, basically.
It's if you write someone else's name in the notebook, any name that's written in the notebook, you die.
And what happens with a guy who's like a full-on sociopath gets the notebook, and there are creatures called Shinigamis that exist in this world, and the only way you can see one is if you have his death note.
So that's what that is.
And it's just literally a notebook that says Death Note on the front of it.
And it's the story of Light Yagami, I believe.
And I wonder how they're going to turn that into a musical.
I mean, it looks pretty cool, but the link is put into the website.
Yeah, we have everything in the show notes that we're going to talk about.
Well, everything that has a page anyway.
Next thing up there, there's actually a really cool use of technology I wanted to highlight.
If you've ever seen a turtle out in the wild with a damaged shell, you know that it's going to have a lot of problems.
In fact, there was a turtle many years ago that my in-laws found and they named him Snaps, but he didn't have the front part of his shell.
So when he pulled his head in, his head was exposed.
So he was really kind of a problem.
So he was great personality, great turtle.
But there is a new thing that's actually working out now that is in Australia.
In Australia, in Victoria specifically, there is a gentleman who is scanning turtles that have damaged shells, 3D printing pieces to fit in them, and then using dental glue to get them to stay.
And they're actually being released back out into the world, and I think it's kind of cool.
What do you think about it, Amber?
I mean, it seems pretty cool.
I mean, it, you know, other shows probably notice a difference, but I mean, it is bright blue.
Yeah.
I mean, but the turtle itself would probably be really grateful.
So that's pretty good.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
All right.
Moving right along.
One Piece live action is coming back and it's coming back on March 10th, I believe.
Yep.
And where's it coming back to?
Netflix, it's coming back to Netflix.
So I'm in Reverse Mountain, the actual original anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
Now, I don't know how much of the original anime is on Netflix, but there are over 1100 episodes.
And you're on episode what?
I'm not far in.
I keep starting and stopping.
I think I'm on 50 something.
OK, I am on episode 660 something.
And my son is current, which means he binge watched over 1100 episodes and he is now waiting because they're going seasonal.
So the first 1100 and some odd episodes are all technically considered season one.
So we thought the same thing for this show Which is one of the reasons why this is season two because we had a little bit of a layover So we'll see what happens.
Yeah, I also just realized I'm actually on episode 63 Okay, not as bad not as bad But it is reverse Malon and where are you?
I am in dress rosa.
I
So I have characters and stuff on my ship that you haven't seen yet.
And I know there's more characters that show up after I am.
So so it's funny because Amber's looking at some of the stuff that we have to talk about.
And she's like, I've never seen that character because she hasn't.
So so what's next?
So next is actually one piece uh is having the blue sea with a full crocs collaboration for 2026 and I do not know the character who has who's in the middle
But I know the one for this away that has the red is Luffy, and I do not know the ship that's in the front, but I know it's a ship.
OK, so the ship that's in the front is this Thousand Sunny.
That is a ship you get somewhere in the upper, upper numbers.
There's a whole story about how they get the ship.
It's really good.
And the character in the middle is the ship's doctor.
His name is Chopper.
He is a reindeer who ate the human human fruit.
Sorry, spoiler.
No, that's fine.
I was I was looking ahead.
OK, so that that's kind of all we have about One Piece right now.
So the next thing is Hasbro has some explaining to do.
If you are of a certain age and you watched a movie called Transformers The Movie, especially if you were young and impressionable like I was, I was six years old and I went to the drive-in movie theater to see it, and it was…
traumatizing my favorite character in the entire movie dies.
Spoiler alert.
But Optimus Prime actually dies in the movie and the entire movie was a setup to sell the next generation of Transformers.
But you couldn't tell kids that.
So they killed them all off.
So Hasbro in preparation for the 40th 40th anniversary of the movie coming out, which you have never seen.
And it is the last acting work for Orson Welles, I believe, the guy who did War of the Worlds.
I don't think I've seen that.
OK. All right.
It's actually a radio program.
No problem.
No worries.
So but yeah, it's kind of really cool.
So I think we should watch it soon.
But it's a little sad.
But anyway, Hasbro is actually apologizing for all the trauma that they caused way back in the day.
all right what do we got up next the ultimate villain uh it's the skelly shredder action figure which actually for right now it's uh about 34 bucks but to be exact it's 33 dollars and 75 cents but the original pricing is 45 dollars
OK, it is a combination of Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Skeletor from He-Man.
So he is one of the ultimate villains.
I thought it was kind of fun, so I thought we would share that out.
All right.
Next up, what do we got?
Oh yeah, software.
I found this on Facebook and I swore that this was wrong.
There was some image meme that was shared that basically said in certain areas, there was a radio broadcast like an AM radio broadcast that was just screeches and it sounded like modem noises.
But in reality, if you taped these programs and put them on an audio cassette and then fed them into a computer that could read the audio cassettes,
You got a program for free over the air before the internet So I thought that was pretty cool and there's a little bit of information if you had if you were curious about it So Amber, what do you think installing apps by recording a radio show?
I don't think that's the best option in my opinion Okay.
All right moving right along
so it is the history of mario uh it was created by mr i don't know if i'm saying this right yeah there you go um he was 24 and it first appeared in the arcade in 1981 for donkey kong as jumpman
And he sold 60,000 machines.
And later on, he put it in the media.
And Mario's first TV appearance was in a cartoon series as a circus trainer in the Saturday Supercade on CBS from 1983 to 1985.
Yes, I remember that.
But the funny thing is, how did he get the name Mario?
That's what I was really curious about.
If you look in the top, it's basically because there was a, when Nintendo started doing video games, they had a warehouse in North America that they were behind on payments for.
And the warehouse manager's name was Mario.
So because he let them slide and pay back the rent later, they named the character after him.
I don't know where Luigi came from, but I thought that was pretty cool.
Could you imagine that?
You just own a warehouse and all of a sudden you're immortalized as a video game character.
That would be insane.
All right, the next thing we have up here is loot boxes.
I don't know how you feel about them, and I hate micro transactions in games.
If I buy a game, I want the entire game.
Like I was able to share one of my favorite fighting games, Killer Instinct, with my daughter.
We have it on the computer on the Xbox down here, but there are certain characters that I remember from playing Killer Instinct way back in the arcade.
That are not available because we would have to buy them as upgrades to the game, but they're still there So it's annoying so If this is a little bit similar because they're at least you're paying for a specific piece of content You're spent paying for character a you get character a what this is about and valve is very very prominent in doing this is loot boxes
So that's where you spend a set amount of money and you get randomized prizes for in-game stuff.
Sometimes it could be a cosmetic, sometimes it's a boost to actually help you in the game, and it's a little bit predatory.
So the state of New York is actually suing Valve because they say that the addition of loot boxes specifically to games is actually letting children and adults illegally gamble.
So yeah, they're kind of serious in coming after them.
And if it manages to remove microtransactions, I think it would be a good thing.
And the next thing we are talking about is that Pokemon for Winds and Waves has new starter Pokemon, which the grass type is Brout.
And what does Brout look like?
Brow is like a bird that has leaf eyebrows and a green nose.
Makes it look like a pear.
And then the starter Pokemon for Fire is Pombon.
He is everywhere right now, all over social media.
People are fawning over this Pokemon.
And the only thing that my son said about him was he must look really weird when he stands up.
Probably.
Or when he grows up.
So, who's the last one?
I don't want to say this right, but the- wrong, sorry.
The wooder type starter is Gekwa?
Yeah, I think that's right.
Yes!
And it's like a…
Gecko?
Gecko, yeah.
Okay.
So yeah, so Pokemon Wind and Waves coming out.
It's going to be exclusive to the Switch 2, so my son is currently going back and forth, hemming and hawing on when he's going to buy a Switch 2 or what he's going to do.
So I wish I had those problems.
No problem.
No worries.
All right.
Next thing we have up here is
After loot boxes and Pokemon, what should we talk about?
How about your final resting place?
Well, Spotify and Liquid Death have teamed up to actually create an urn where you can have an eternal playlist.
So for $495, you get a playlist that people can scan your urn and hear long after you are gone.
I, it seems a little weird.
Yeah.
I mean, this is this takes like, you know, putting a cell phone into a casket and calling it to hear the voicemail a little far.
It's like, oh, no, I really remember.
He said that song was his jam.
Yeah, that's it's kind of weird.
I mean, imagine you just go to like a dead relative's house or like have to earn.
And it's just like, oh, like a random song like, oh, no.
I mean, you could really troll people with that.
You could Rick Roll someone.
You really could and that could be the entire thing.
Spend $500 to Rick Roll people forever.
That would be interesting.
Alright, what's the next one?
The next one, I'm really excited about this, it's Disney running shoes.
So there's a weekend or a little part in Disney that does this running thing where it does half marathons, it does like 5Ks and full marathons.
And they are actually coming out with shoes, which is the Ghost Rapunzel, which is going to be almost 200, and the Glycerin 23 Bell.
The Moana shoes So when you're saying these names like glycerin and stuff like that, what kind of running shoes are they?
What's the brand?
The brand is Brooks.
Okay.
So those are high end running shoes.
They're really nice.
And like we've been buying older versions of them because they're just phenomenal for your feet.
Oh yeah.
And I actually got the Chip and Dale shoes from this collection that are actually coming soon.
So I'm very excited and I'm going to be using them for my running seasons for the next two years.
Very cool.
All right.
And the last little thing that we have, like these stories really just like trip my trigger.
I love them.
But anything that's talking about archaeology or stuff like that, it just really I love it.
I mean, I went to school for archaeology.
I was on digs.
It is just a fascinating discipline.
Well, there is somebody, and for those of you who may have listened before, you are aware that I was actually school and college support for the architecture department.
And one of our servers, when I first started working there, I had never heard of this name before, but one of our servers was named Vitruvius.
And I come to find out Vitruvius is basically the father of architecture.
He lived BCE, so before the common era, and he, uh,
Like, wrote a 10-volume treaty on architecture.
I forget the actual name, but he is incredibly famous among the architect circles, and he only ever described one singular building in his entire writings.
Like, he described types of buildings and how things could go, but he only made detailed descriptions of one thing, an ancient basilica, if you will, in the Italian city of Fano.
Well, they found it they were excavating and they have actually found the the book or the the Basilica that he described in his ninth book of day architecture So yeah, that's pretty cool All right moving right along
The next thing that we got for you here is we're going to switch over to the food and caffeinated bits section.
Are you excited?
Yes, I am.
All right.
At the end of this, I'm going to have you talk about what we've been doing on Sundays, OK?
All right.
Just just going to lay it out there.
All right.
Staying with our archaeology, though, the first two stories are kind of right up my alley.
The first thing is there was an archaeological dig out
in the Western United States in a historic ski area and in Park City.
And they found a giant and old bottle that had been corked from over 150 years ago.
So that looks I mean that it's right on the screen right now.
I don't I don't if I saw this and I'm digging and it's like 150 years old.
The first thing I think would be what does it taste like?
Like I would want to know.
So they opened it up and a bunch of scientists tried it and they said it actually tasted quite fruity.
It wasn't bad.
There was no bacterial infection in it.
And what they're trying to do right now is they're trying to recreate the recipe that goes into it.
It was probably made with apples, so it's a kind of hard cider.
And it reminded me when I was in middle school, my grandfather took me to a lecture for a college course on archaeology, and they were talking about a beer that they made from
the residue inside vats that were used to brew beer.
So they made a modern beer, at the time it was called Nen Kasi, that was a copy of an ancient beer.
So they're going to try and do the same thing for this.
Sounds pretty cool, huh?
Yeah, it sounds pretty cool.
So maybe by the time you turn 21, you'll be able to have a bootleg 150-year-old apple cider.
I would probably not.
And then stick it in the exact same vein, but it's even weird.
Even weirder is what happens if you are in the Alaskan wilderness and you come across a 50,000 year old bison?
What would you do, Amber?
I have no clue.
So they find this thing in the permafrost, they dig it out and it seems like some of the meat on the critter was still there.
Although it probably tastes disgusting.
Yeah, and apparently they tried it in a stew.
So the scientists who were doing this said, you know what?
The taste was delicious.
None of us suffered any ill effects of the meal.
So in 1984, scientists ate a 50,000 year old bison in a zoo, in a stew, not in a zoo.
The 50,000 year old bison would not go to the zoo.
No, but it is in a glass case.
It is now.
Okay.
So, oh, and the one more thing I have, you never liked getting needles when we were at the doctor's office, right?
I used to not.
I don't really have much mind to it anymore.
Okay.
But I mean, nobody would look forward to getting a needle.
I mean, there's a problem with you if you do.
But, um, so they recently came out with these, uh, the EpiPens and the, uh, the flu vaccines that you can get with a nasal mist.
You've had the flu vaccine a couple of times, right?
Yeah.
Where they just squirt it up your nose and then.
Oh yeah, that was the weirdest things ever.
So somebody else took it one step further and said, how else can we get these antibodies into somebody's body and not first of all, not a get them sick and B have them produce the antibodies on their own because that's how vaccines work.
So a gentleman actually put together a system where he brewed beer
from and used yeast that had a something.
So there's a specific virus that he found which remains dormant and harmless normally, but actually leads to kidney damage, painful bladder infections, and a couple of other things.
So this gentleman, Buck, Chris Buck, Dr. Chris Buck actually, engineered brewer's yeast to produce harmless viral proteins of the BK polyomovirus.
Then he used that yeast to ferment beer and create a drink with that.
And he drank it himself.
So he didn't give it to anybody else.
And then he tested his own body afterwards and he was developing the antibodies for the vaccine that he made a beer from.
So I might be able to go to a doctor, get a beer and be okay.
You're looking at me.
Yeah.
Cause that would sound so weird.
Like, Oh, I just went to the doctor and had a beer.
Like what?
Yeah, I mean, I thought it was weird the one time we went to get a haircut at a place called Philly Sports Clips and they gave everybody who walked in who was of age a beer and they had sports up on the TV and it was kind of fun.
Didn't last that long, but… Alright, what do we got next, Amber?
The coffee machine that brews espresso using water condensed from the air of your home.
This is using a UV light, heat, and replaceable filters to clean the water.
And, I mean, it seems like it's been done in 2025 of January 7th.
Uh, it looks interesting.
I don't think I would ever try it because, uh, that sounds kind of weird.
The air condensed.
I mean, what happens if there's dust in the air?
I mean, there's a lot of things that like, but I mean, seriously, think about how cool that could be.
Like in an office setting, you wouldn't have to run water to the coffee machine, but like.
I mean, how much water can it really produce?
I don't I don't remember seeing that.
They said, oh, yeah, I can produce two gallons a day or something.
Yeah, I don't think it did.
I mean, maybe if it's an espresso machine, you only get one shot every couple hours.
Yeah.
Also, like imagine if someone's sick and it goes into the air.
Oh, yeah, that wouldn't be good.
That's the other thing.
It just sounds disgusting.
All right.
Moving right along.
Oh.
and it can't show me.
Do you want more coffee?
Duncan has you covered.
Oh, I'm pretty sure this is the bucket.
Where is it?
Yes, the Duncan bucket.
OK.
In certain states, there is the Duncan bucket, which it gives you, I don't know, a 48 ounce of any drink.
And it's only in what states, I think?
Massachusetts because they love their Duncan.
And I can't remember the second one.
Yeah, but I don't think I would ever need that much, especially because I get coffee from Duncan.
I don't think I would need that much.
Yeah.
So the funny thing is it's only going to cost between eight and $12.
Like that's not that much more for a trough of coffee.
Yeah.
It's probably cheaper out there than it is here.
Yeah, so but if you actually follow the links, there's some of them funnier and you can actually see it looks like a mini bucket that you get from Lowe's.
It's pretty ridiculous.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
What do we got coming up next?
Oh, yeah, that's me.
The Umbrella Corporation, that nefarious organization that is all all up in Resident Evil one through zero rather through nine.
My son just downloaded and beat episode or
chapter version or i guess the ninth in the series in two days so i don't know how many hours he put into it in those two or three days but yeah it's it's already beat and he's having fun with that but um yeah the umbrella corporation as a way to generate a little publicity actually decided to
In real life, have the fictional corporation of the Umbrella Corporation, Sue Nissan, the company that makes Cup of Noodles,
copyright infringement because they said the Umbrella Corporation has been around since 1968 in the game lore and that Cup of Noodles came out in 1971 they both produced the same kind of snack food so obviously Cup of Noodles stole their look from the Umbrella Corporation or Umbrella Noodles so
It's obviously a lark, it's funny, and it's a way for them to do exactly what we're doing right here.
They had a game come out, we're talking about it.
So, I mean, other people are going to do the same thing.
I think it's kind of funny.
It is kind of funny.
Alright, what's the next thing we got here?
Keep AI out of food.
So, did you watch the video?
No, I did not.
Okay, Burger King has a new AI that they are introducing that is going to replace humans in Burger Kings.
It's called Patty.
And it's going to have like it.
No, it's not going to replace humans.
It's going to train people and score them based on how friendly they are to customers.
So it is a watchful eye surveying the McDonald's that it's or the Burger King rather that it's installed in.
And if the guys or the guy or the girl at the counter is rude to you, if they don't proceed the correct way, they're going to get disciplined by an AI.
Oh, that seems horrible.
Yeah, I don't think that I would want to do that.
No.
Especially if you're just a first-time worker and trying to just be there, especially if the customer's rude to you, I don't think you would be very right to be told that you're doing it wrong.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
And what's the last thing we have in the food and caffeinated bits section?
I believe that's coffee travels, which is me.
So lately we've been doing this thing where we go all around where we live and we have been trying different places for coffee.
I don't remember where the first one was that we went but lately we've been trying different types of coffee, different places so it's been really fun because on Sundays we go there except for when we're going to family dinner.
So we would just go and taste different coffee just for the morning and maybe a little treat sometimes
Not this last time but the time before that we actually went to a restaurant that I'll have to look up But it was a Arabic coffee bar.
Oh, yeah, that was good coffee.
It definitely was I mean if you don't like bitter coffee, then I would not I mean it had a floral note to it Yeah, but if you don't really like that stuff, I would not recommend it but they also had Dubai chocolate brownie, which was amazing and
And it reminded me significantly, my supervisor at work actually bought me a coffee from Qatar.
So the Qatari coffee is completely different than any other coffee that I've ever had.
And I have an article ready to go and I'm going to write about it.
But one of the things that was the weirdest was that
It was yellow, like an orange.
Do you remember that, Amber?
Yeah, it was delicious, though.
Oh, yeah.
It was wonderful.
I looked up how you're supposed to make it, and I actually did it incorrectly.
I used a French press because I wanted to make some.
And then I made it for a whole group of our friends the correct way on a stove with a stovetop.
And it reminded me the process of making it reminded me a little bit of like Greek coffee or Turkish coffee with the abriki that you boil the coffee on the stove.
I've done that a couple of times, right?
I think so, yeah.
I just realized it was November 9th that we actually went there.
Oh, wow.
That's a while ago.
Yeah.
What's the name?
Do you have the?
I don't have the name.
OK, we'll find out.
I'll put it in the show notes after we're done.
All right.
And the last little thing and what you're going to see is if you go on over to CaffeNation.com or check us out on any of our socials, you're going to know that when we visit these places, because we're going to share little fun blurbs and yeah.
So it's just something that we've been doing recently and we want to try and like spread out.
So every time we go on vacation this, for instance, this past year, where did we go?
South Carolina, Hilton Head?
Yeah.
They had such good coffee, but we only stuck with the one that we went to first, which was delicious.
We went to this other, like we went to four maybe.
Yeah, we want a different one every day for the first four days.
Yeah, but for the fifth day we did get coffee from the same first place because everyone seemed to like that one better.
Yeah, we whenever we went there, we we did a whole big order for the entire family.
And then we came back whenever we are.
I don't want to say that we're reviewing these places because all the replace like I've never had horrible coffee anywhere.
So, I mean, it all tastes good.
It's just a little bit different at every place.
Like, do they roast their own beans?
Do they not?
So it's it's interesting to see the different ways things are done at different cafes.
And some we just seem to like the taste of more because I think we're used to it.
I get the same thing every time.
I always get an iced coffee with no sweetener in it.
And then I get a double espresso because if you can make a good espresso, in my opinion, then they know what they're doing.
Like there's a lot that can go wrong with espresso.
You can over extract it.
You can do like there's so many different things.
And if you have a good coffee and a good espresso, the rest of the drinks are going to be at the very least tolerable.
Yeah.
One of the other places that we went to that we didn't go back to, but I wish we did because I got two drinks there because I didn't realize how big the one was, but that one was delicious.
It was a Sand Dollar.
Don't know which place that was, but it was delicious.
I think it was the first one.
No, that wasn't the first one.
Okay.
So the other place that we went to recently around here is actually called New Amsterdam Coffee Bar.
Oh, it's delicious.
It is amazing.
And the best part about the experience beyond the good coffee that they had is they had the entire shop full of bonsai trees.
Yeah.
And they're all for sale.
Yeah.
And they also make their own waffles there.
Similar to the Belgian League waffles, they have tiny little sugar crystals in them.
Yeah.
I think the main reason we went there was because of the reviews.
Yeah, it had pretty good reviews.
So you'll probably see something about that on their site eventually.
Yeah, but it was so delicious.
All right.
Now we have the final thought.
Do you have anything you want to say before I get going on this one?
You guys probably know about this one.
What?
They probably know about this.
Yeah, okay, so if you've been on social media even a little bit, you're aware of a problem called bots.
But what you are unaware of is that the bots are not just all of the bots, but a good portion of the bots.
are run by nefarious actors and they control all of them doing the same thing so when people are looking at social media as a way to say this is trending that is trending what actually can happen is there's so many of these bot accounts out there that they can make things trend that they want to so negative political stories they can make that trend
they want to kill a brand, they can make that trend.
Like there's so many positives and negatives that they can do just from a couple clicks of the button.
And like all these things are run by little AI agents.
And yeah, it's kind of terrifying.
If you read the article that we have linked here, you can see a lot more there.
And some of the videos they have
up from inside these rooms where the bot farms are.
It's just racks and racks of old phones that are all on Instagram or Twitter or anything, and they're creating content out of thin air for nefarious purposes.
Yeah, I mean, there's been situations with people just posting stuff about animals jumping on trampolines.
Like, I saw this raccoon one jumping on a trampoline.
That's not actual raccoons jumping on a trampoline.
So sometimes if you see some of these videos, you will know that it is not real, based on sometimes the faces being disordered.
So that's like AI-generated like rich media content.
That's like them doing videos, images, and it's really kind of problematic because you don't know if what you're seeing is real.
And then you also don't know because of these bot farms, you don't know if the trending topics are actually something people care about or it's something somebody wants to trend.
which is terrifying to think about, because a lot of policy decisions are based on how people in general respond to content.
So, I don't know.
It's a little bit weird, you know, but it's one of those kind of things.
So, I'd like to thank everybody for listening.
Again, this was Caffe Nation Season 2, Episode 1.
Amber, do you have any final thoughts?
Well, stay caffeinated.
All right.
Thank you, everybody.
Be good to each other and stay caffeinated.
