Crufty Claus is Coming to town bringing lego sets and coffee for all

Tonights show is a fun mess, we have holiday blips, real news and general cruft all thrown into the same show. From the fruit to booze, coffee to sledding we have you covered for the holidays.

While the USB wall-wart is a neat idea, I don’t think it will provide the energy savings you think they will. You still need a transformer to step down the voltage to the ~5V that USB requires. So, you’ll still have the inefficiencies of the transformers to deal with, they’ll just be inside the wall now.
I wonder if the step down transformers will cause extra heat / fire hazards in the wall units?
