First off happy Mother’s Day to everyone out there responsible for bringing life into this world. Today’s show is special because i shared it with my mother. We set up a time and sat down and recorded the whole thing this past week. If you listen closely you can also hear a the background noise that is my son playing in the studio.
I’ve never had a co-host on the show before so this was a learning experiance. The mobile lair for the caffination needs a little tweaking before the sound quality is as good as the episodes produced regularly but I look forward to trying more on the spot recordings. I’d like to thank my mom for taking time out to spend discussing geeky things and trying to embarrass me.
Shared with my mom, and delivered to you, here is episode 333 packed with stories and laughs

Hi, Paul~ I listened to part of this after cleaning up the Mother’s Day barbeque. What fun! I’ll have to check in on you on a regular basis. How the hell do you find time for this? P.S. ~I agree with Mom. Long live the book. Now disco pool I can go for. All I need is a pool.
LOL glad you enjoyed. I usually schedule the episodes to record after everyone else is asleep. I don’t sleep much as it is might as well be doing something fun. I like the idea of the kindle, mainly to replace constantly changing printed works, like text books and newspaper, but for actual books it seems to take away from the experience more than add to it. It removed the concept of buying a book at a yard sale, and takes away the col second hand book stores.
You are very welcome Paul. It’s always a pleasure having a chance to embarrass my boy, no matter how old he is! I must say it’s been very enjoyable Raising a Geek and quite challenging.
I especially liked little Paul’s background sounds while he was playing with our little people barn. Years from now, we’ll be able to have him listen to this and say – hear that noise? that was you!
By the way, one correction – your dad had mentioned the Kindle to me before you did. (He says he never gets credit, so here is his credit.)
