Scientists at the University of Georgia have developed a spray that penetrates clothing and makes it quite inhospitable to bacteria of all types. The spray can even last through wash cycles.
While at first glance this is a fantastic idea for hospitals and other sterile environments I wouldn’t want it anywhere near my home. Germs and disease is one thing, making something resistant to it all only breeds stronger bugs in the future! And I don’t know about you but I’ve had it up to my eyeballs with talk of MRSA and it’s gym buddies. I have conducted several very UNscientific studies on my own. Basically the more you clean things the more often you get sick. A little germ is good for you, a vacuum of power is bad. That coming from DR Paul!
So fantastic for the scientists who figured this out. more money for the fellows down the road who have to find a way to kill of the superbugs we get next year. Ok maybe I’d use it on the cutting boards and kitchen counter… but nothing else.
